Waypoint TV proudly supports women’s adventures in all fields. We admire the individuals leading the charge to create a more welcoming outdoor industry and recognize the large strides that have been taken to get here. Just a few of the personalities scheduled to appear on Women of the Wild are: Meredith McCord, Taylor Sanders, April Vokey, Emily & Amanda from Gale Force, Mandy Uhrich, Natalie Dillon and Nicole Stone, Addy Campbell, Britt Longoria, Ashton Mallette, Jessica Byers, Margit Axelrad, Misty Wells, Astrid de Gruchy, Chasten Whitfield, Gina Brunson, Stevie Kim-Rubell, Alex Woodsum, Shay Doll & Heidi Nute, Caylan Climspon and more.
“To say I’m excited by the growing number of women in outdoor entertainment is an understatement. Long before the outdoor “industry” was created, women were hunting, fishing, and adventuring right alongside our male friends and family. However, it’s taken some time to see women equally or accurately represented in most outdoor content. Our Waypoint TV Team is proud to highlight the ladies who are leading this charge and I’m excited to tune into Women of The Wild right alongside our viewers,” exclaimed Waypoint TV Manager of Content Operations, Katherine Brookshire.
“Women have been part of the outdoors for millennia. While it may have taken us a little longer to step into the “industry”, women have always had a rightful seat at the table. Women in the outdoor industry bring balance, conversation, and perspective. They’re more than just the other half of an economic calculation—they’re the half that transforms the “industry” into a community instead,” added April Vokey, host of Anchored Outdoors.
“Women are the fastest growing demographic in hunting and fishing, We’ve noticed this trend firsthand, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. We’re proud to use our platform with Waypoint TV to highlight some of the badass “women of the wild” - this month and beyond. I have no doubt that it will help inspire many more to get outdoors and find a new passion,” added Waypoint CEO, Builder Brock
