Louisiana duck camp - there’s nothing like it. It’s where roots run deep, swamp pop echos off the blackwater bayous, and the smell of cajun cooking fills the air with comfort. From the producers at Split Reed, Duck Camp Dinners embodies everything good from camp life, especially the storytelling and the cooking. Join renowned Chef, Jean-Paul Bourgeois and special guests as they escape the noise of everyday life and take viewers through the sights, sounds, and smells of a Louisiana duck camp’s rich tradition. From the hunt to the kitchen, Chef provides the ultimate field-to-plate experience. Early mornings in the duck blind to classic pouldeau gumbo, viewers don’t have to be duck hunters to feel right at home.
Born and raised in southern Louisiana, host, Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois spent his childhood surrounded by his friends, family, and fantastic southern cooking. His mission now is to honor and celebrate his humble beginnings with others as he has flourished into a successful career in the food and media industry. Watch new episodes from Duck Camp Dinners every Monday at 8:30 PM ET or catch up on Waypoint TV’s On-Demand platform, anytime, anywhere.
“Our goal with Duck Camp Dinners has always been to provide an authentic window into the culture and traditions that are alive and well at duck camps across Louisiana, said the Director for Duck Camp Dinners, Daniel Bagbey. “Louisianians are some of the most genuine people you will ever meet, and I am thankful to be able to share their stories and way of life with the world. We at Split Reed are thrilled about the Waypoint TV partnership and the increased viewership opportunity they provide.”
“We’re honored to have Duck Camp Dinners and Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois on Waypoint TV,” said Waypoint TV’s Director of Marketing, Stevie Barefield. “This is the high-quality, lifestyle content our audience craves. Each storyline combines the best of both hunting and cooking and Chef does a fantastic job of creating mouthwatering dishes that will pull you into your screen. We look forward to sharing this with viewers and can’t wait for more seasons.”
